Participants will discuss the importance of early identification of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as materials and practices to use in the classroom and speaking with caregivers about developmental concerns.

“Talking With Our Hands: Using Sign Language to Communicate in an Inclusive Childcare Setting”

Participants will learn communication through the use of sign language to help support children and their families who may be experiencing language barriers. Developmentally appropriate strategies and techniques will be integrated for ALL children in the inclusive classroom.
